In this guideline (EU A.9) study, conducted with GLP certification, no flash-point was observed below the temperature at which boiling of the test item occurred.
The test item did not meet the criteria for classification as a flammable liquid according to the Classification, Labelling, and Packaging (CLP) regulation (1272/2008).

Preliminary test
It was visually observed that the test item boiled at approximately 230°C. No flammable vapour/air mixture was produced at temperatures below the temperature at which boiling of the test item occurred. From this, it was concluded that the test item has no flash point.
