Test solutions

Vehicle:
not specified
Details on test solutions:
Fresh extraction of the test concentration was prepared at room temperature in normal lighting. The test concentration was stirredwas stirred at a speed that created a small vortex on the surface for 24hours in a covered glass beaker. After being allowed to settle for 1 hour, the volume was filtered in two steps.

Test organisms

Test organisms (species):
Daphnia magna
Details on test organisms:
The Daphnia magna culture is a Clone-A originating from the Norwegian Institute of Water Research (NIVA) Norway.

Results and discussion

Effect concentrations
Key result
Duration:
48 h
Dose descriptor:
NOEC
Effect conc.:
>= 100 - <= 100 mg/L
Nominal / measured:
nominal
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Basis for effect:
mobility
Details on results:
The immobilisation of the Daphnia Magna at the concentration 100 mg/l was 0% after 48hours exposure, and therefore the NOEC-value is determined to be 100 mg/l.
