Details on results:
No dependence of water solubility on the nominal concentration (5-30 g/L) was observed. The standard deviation of the samples which were used for the calculation of water solubility at the plateau was 25.8 mg/L, corresponding to a relative standard deviation of 3.0 %.

Due to the pre-test the solubility was expected to lie above 10 mg/L, therefore the flask method was used according to the guideline.

Conclusions:
Result of the main test: Water solubility: 873.4 ± 25.8 mg/L at 20.0 °C (0.8734 ± 0.0258 kg/m3 (SI units))

For the water solubility of 2,2'-Azobis (4-methoxy-2,4-dimethylvaleronitrile) the following value was determined:

873.4 ± 25.8 mg/L at 20.0 °C (according to 0.8734 ± 0.0258 kg/m3 (SI units)

No dependency of solubility on amount of the test item (nominal load) was perceived.
