Description of key information

In accordance with the ECHA Guidance on CLP criteria, chapter 2.15, "the explosive properties do not have to be determined according to the CLP Annex I, Chapter 2.1, because explosive properties are incorporated in the decision logic for organic peroxides." The test item in its marketed form is classified as an organic peroxide Type C (see section 4.24 for test item classification).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Type C includes all organic peroxides, which have explosive properties but do not detonate nor deflagrate or explode thermally in the package (see CLP regulation, Annex I, chapter 2.15).
