According to REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL, Annex VII, dated 18. December 2006 (and further amendments) by Commission Regulation the determination of the melting- / freezing point does not need to be conducted below a lower limit of - 20 °C.
Therefore, no additional test was conducted and the freezing point is stated as:
< - 80 °C (< 193.15 K).
Executive summary:

This study was performed in order to determine the melting point or the melting range of the test item Isoamyl nitrite.

The melting point is one of the fundamental physico-chemical properties of a chemical substance. The test item should have been heated with a defined heating rate until melting / decomposition of the test item could has been observed.

In a pre-test, the test item Isoamyl nitrite was still unfrozen and liquidat – 80 °C.

According to REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL, Annex VII, dated 18. December 2006 (and further amendments) by Commission Regulationthe determination of the melting- / freezing point does not need to be conducted below a lower limit of - 20 °C.
