Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

30 January 2018
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 109 (Density of Liquids and Solids)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
oscillating densitimeter
Key result
Type:
relative density
Density:
0.887
Temp.:
20 °C

Threefold measurements were made:

Result 1: 0.887

Result 2: 0.886

Result 3: 0.887

Mean: 0.887

Conclusions:
The relative density of the substance was 0.887.
Executive summary:

The relative density was measured accorgin to the OECD Guideline 109. An oscillating densitimeter (DENSITO 30PX) was use to the measurement of the relative density of the substance. The plastic cannula of the equipment was introduced into the sample and the first aliquot was discarded to eliminate possible solvent residues. It was not necessary to temper the sample because the equipment provides the result by applying a temperature correction. Three measurements were performed. The relative density of the substance was determined to be 0.887.

Description of key information
