Administrative data
First-aid measures
In the case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible). Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, and take precautions to protect themselves.
Description of first aid measures
Inhalation:
Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a physician if symptoms develop or persist.
Skin contact:
Wash off with soap and plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists. For minor skin contact, avoid spreading material on unaffected skin.
Eye contact:
Do not rub eyes. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.
Ingestion:
Rinse mouth. If ingestion of a large amount does occur, call a poison control centre immediately.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:
Dusts may irritate the respiratory tract, skin and eyes. Dermatitis. Rash.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
Symptoms may be delayed. Keep victim under observation. Provide general supportive measures and treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
No unusual fire or explosion hazards noted.

Water fog. Foam. Dry chemical powder. Carbon dioxide (CO2).

Accidental release measures
Keep unnecessary personnel away. Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak. Wear appropriate protective equipment and clothing during clean-up. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of dust. Do not touch damaged containers or spilled material unless wearing appropriate protective clothing. Avoid release to the environment. Avoid discharge into drains, water courses or onto the ground.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
ELIMINATE all ignition sources (no smoking, flares, sparks or flames in immediate area). Collect dust using a vacuum cleaner equipped with HEPA filter. Prevent entry into waterways, sewer, basements or confined areas. Stop the flow of material, if this is without risk.
Large Spills: Wet down with water and dike for later disposal. Shovel the material into waste container. Avoid dust formation.
Small Spills: Sweep up or vacuum up spillage and collect in suitable container for disposal.
Never return spills to original containers for re-use.
Handling and storage
Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed. Avoid generation and spreading of dust. Minimise dust generation and accumulation. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Avoid breathing dust. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. When using, do not eat, drink or smoke. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Avoid release to the environment.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Keep container tightly closed. Store in a well-ventilated place. Store away from incompatible materials. Use appropriate container to avoid environmental contamination. Store between 5°C and 30°C to prolong shelf life.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Shower, hand and eye washing facilities near the workplace are recommended. Ventilation should be sufficient to effectively remove and prevent buildup of any dusts or fumes that may be generated during handling or thermal processing. Provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation.

Contaminated packaging:
Since emptied containers may retain product residue, follow label warnings even after container is emptied. Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste handling site for recycling or disposal.
EU waste code:
The Waste code should be assigned in discussion between the user, the producer and the waste disposal company.
Disposal methods/information:
Contract with a disposal operator licensed by the Law on Disposal and Cleaning. Do not allow this material to drain into sewers/water supplies. When your own wastewater treatment plant is not available, collect entire waste and then charge to a licensed industrial waste management professional with manifests for industrial waste.
