First-aid measures

- General advice:

- Following inhalation:

Move person into fresh air.

- Following skin contact: Remove affected clothing and wash all exposed skin area with mild soap and water, followed by water rinse.

- Following eye contact:

Rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

- Following ingestion:

Do not induce vomiting.

- Most important symptoms and effects:

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media:

Foam. Dry chemical. Carbon dioxide. Use extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding fire.

- Unsuitable extinguishing media:

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

- Advice for fire fighter: Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection. Pressure demand self-contained breathing apparatus should be provided to fire fighters in building or confined area where the material is stored.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions:

Supply fresh air. Equip cleanup crew with proper protection.

- Protective equipment and emergency procedures:

Respiratory protection equipment may be necessary.

- Environmental precautions:

Avoid release to the environment. Prevent entry to sewers and public waters.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Clean up any spills as soon as possible, using an absorbent material to collect it. Use suitable disposal containers.

Local exhaust and general ventilation must be adequate to meet exposure standards. Close container tightly after use.
