For the main test three flasks were prepared with an amount of test item and water, and one flask only with water. After stirring and centrifugation the aqueous phases were measured by means of HPLC. The solution of each flask has been measured twice. The results of these measurements are shown in the following table. The values represented in the table are rounded values. The calculation was carried out with the original not rounded values.

Conclusions:
The water solubility of the test item was determined to be 33.9 g/L at 20 °C and pH 1.4.
Executive summary:

The water solubility was determined according to Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, method A.6 and OECD Guideline No. 105, adopted on 27th July 1995 using the flask method with HPLC analysis. Three flasks were prepared with an amount of test item and water, and one flask only with water. After stirring and centrifugation the aqueous phases were measured by means of HPLC. The solution of each flask has been measured twice. The water solubility of the test item was determined to be 33.9 g/L at 20 °C and pH 1.4.

Description of key information

The water solubility of the test item was determined to be 33.9 g/L at 20 °C and pH 1.4 (reference 4.8-1).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
33.9 g/L
at the temperature of:
20 °C
