- Containers may explode when heated.
- May be ignited by friction, heat, sparks or flames.
- May re-ignite after fire is extinguished.
- Vapors may form explosive mixtures with air.
- Some of these materials will burn with intense heat.
- Fire will produce irritating, corrosive and/or toxic gases.
- Inhalation of material may be harmful.

C. Special protective equipment and precautions for fire-fighters
- Vapors may accumulate in confined areas.
- Some may be transported hot.
- Fire involving Tanks; For massive fire, use unmanned hose holders or monitor nozzles; if this is impossible, withdraw from area and let fire burn.
- Move containers from fire area if you can do it without risk.
- Runoff from fire control or dilution water may cause pollution.
- Contact may cause burns to skin and eyes.
- Dike fire-control water for later disposal; do not scatter the material.
- Fire involving Tanks; Cool containers with flooding quantities of water until well after fire is out.
- Fire involving Tanks; Always stay away from tanks engulfed in fire.
- In case or fire: Use personal protective equipment as required.
- Fire involving Tanks; Withdraw immediately in case of rising sound from venting safety devices or discoloration of tank.

Accidental release measures

A. Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
- The very fine particles may cause a fire or explosion, eliminate all ignition sources.
- Do not touch or walk through spilled material.
- A vapor suppressing foam may be used to reduce vapors.
- Be careful to heat.
- You need measurement of air concentration and ventilation in low, closed and confined areas due to lack of oxygen.
- All equipment used when handling the product must be grounded.
- Do not breathe mist/vapours/spray.
- Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
- Eliminate all ignition sources.
- Stop leak if you can do it without risk.
- Please note that materials and conditions to avoid.
- Ventilate the area.
- Do not touch or walk through spilled material.
- Spills and leaks: Use personal protective equipment as required.

B. Environmental precautions and protective procedures
- Large Spill; Wet down with water and dike for later disposal.
- Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas.
C. The methods of purification and removal
- Absorb or cover with dry sand, earth or other non-combustible material and transfer to containers.
- Use control tools to collect absorbed material.
- Small Spill; Flush area with flooding quantities of water.
- Small Spill; Take up with sand or other non-combustible absorbent material and place into containers for later disposal.
- Large Spill; Dike far ahead of liquid spill for later disposal.
- With clean shovel place material into clean, dry container and cover loosely; move containers from spill area.

Handling and storage

A. Precautions for safe handling
- Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition. No smoking
- Ground container and receiving equipment.
- Use explosion-proof [electrical/ventilating/lighting/etc] equipment.
- Use non-sparking tools.
- Do not breathe mist/vapours/spray.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
- Follow all MSDS/label precautions even after container is emptied because they may retain product residues.
- Use carefully in handling/storage.
- Loosen closure cautiously before opening.
- Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin.
- You need measurement of air concentration and ventilation in low, closed and confined areas due to lack of oxygen.
- Please note that materials and conditions to avoid.
- Please work with reference to engineering controls and personal protective equipment.
- Be careful to high temperature.
- Wash the handling area thoroughly after handling.

B. Conditions for safe storage
- Protect from sunlight.
- Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool.
- Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking.
- Empty containers retaining product residue (liquid and/or vapor) can be dangerous.
- Empty drums should be completely drained, properly bunged, and promptly returned to a drum control, or properly placed.
- Store in a closed container.
- Store in cool and dry place.
- Store locked up.
- Keep away from food and drinking water.
