First-aid measures

After inhalation: Move the affected person to fresh air.If breathing becomes irregular or ceases, apply mouth-to-mouth resuscitation or artifical respiration immediately. Get medical attention.

After skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing, wash off the skin with plenty of water.

After eye contact: Rinse the eyes with water for several minutes with eyelids open wide. Having rinsed the eyes, obtain ophthalmologic attention as soon as possible.

After swallowing: Wash out the mouth with plenty of water, give plenty of water to drink, then obtain medical attenton immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Available extinguishing media: water spray, extinguishing powder, carbon dioxid, foam.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: Full water-jet are not suitable for extinguishing.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Substance is combustible. Combustion products: carbon-monoxide/-dioxide, nitrogen-oxides, sulphur-oxides, hydrogen fluoride, hydrogen bromide

Advice for firefighters: Outdoors stay on the weather-side and extinguish from there. In closed places, and in case of wreck, wear fireproof working clothes and use self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Only the trained personnel in charge of release is allowed to be present at the site of spilling, wearing the prescribed protective equipments.

Environmental precautions: Hinder the spilled substance from entering the soil, sewers or living water.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Collect spilt substance aspiring to the lowest possible dust-level. Put the collected substance into adequately labelled empties and transport them to the site of disposal, then wash the contaminated area with plenty of water.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Handle it with the compliance of good industrial hygiene and safety procedures. All work processes must always be designed so minimize or exclude the risk of exposure. It is necessary to wash a hand and a face with water and a soap after the work made with the substance. Avoid any possibility of direct contact with substance while manipulating.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store it in a cool, dry, well-ventilated, free from direct sunlight place. Store in a tightly fitting package protect from light and humidity. Storage temperature: 15-30 °C

Exposure controls / personal protection

Appropriate engineering controls: Closed system, specific processes (eg. sampling) usage of local exhaust ventilation.

Individual protection measures / personal protective equipment: Wear closed protection glasses, or the respirator mask. Closed protective clothing against particulate matter. Protective gloves made of nitrile and neopren. Dust mask or gas mask with white, P3 filter cartidge.

Environmental exposure controls: In case of proper handling and using no environmental damage may be expected. Typically the substance cannot enter the environment.

Stability and reactivity

Chemical stability: Stable is defined storage conditions. Substance sensitive by light, alkalies.

Possibility of hazardous reactions: May react with incompatible materials.

Conditions to avoid: Sensitive to the following physical effects: intense heat, light, water and humidity.

Incompatible materials: strong oxidisers, strong acids

Disposal considerations

Suggestions for disposal procedures of the substance/product: Incineration in a special waste incineration plant.

Suggestions for disposal procedures of contaminated packaging (vessels): Flammable empties must be incinerated in waste increation plant, in compliance with local regulations.
