First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: No first aid should be needed.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with water.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wipe off and wash with soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, foam, dry powder or fine water spray.

Product arising from burning: Carbon dioxide and traces of incompletely burned carbon
products. Silica. Formaldehyde.

Protective equipment: Self-contained respirator and protective clothes should be
worn. Keep containers cool with water spray until well after
the fire is out. Vapours are heavier than air and can
travel along ground to remote ignition sources.
Electrostatic charges may be generated during transfer of
product from its container. Ensure all equipment is
electrically earthed.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid skin and eye contact. Do not breathe vapour.

Do not allow large quantities to enter drains.

Eliminate all possible sources of ignition. Wear proper
protective equipment. Ventilate area well.

Mop , wipe or soak up with absorbent material and place in a
container with a lid.

Handling and storage

Handling: Local ventilation is required. General ventilation is
required. Avoid skin and eye contact. Do not breathe vapour.

Storage: Store in a flameproof well ventilated area. Keep container
tightly closed.
