Justification according to the ECHA Guidance on the Application of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, page 185:
"Non-soluble solids are excluded from testing". Only "liquids and solids that may become liquids (during transport)" have to be considered for a CLP-classification as corrosive to metals. Solids may become liquids by melting (due to increase in temperature). "Solids having a melting point lower than 55 °C (which is the test temperature required for tests) must then be taken into consideration. The other physical way to transform a solid into liquid is by dissolution in water or another solvent."
The substance is soluble only to a very low degree. The substance has a melting point above 900 °C and it is not shipped as a solution. The substance therefore need not to be investigated for its possible corrosivity to metals.
