Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products may contain carbon and nitrogen oxides
together with soot. In case of fire, the same measures as
for an oil fire are recommended: extinguish with carbon
dioxide, foam or powder.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: The substance solidifies at room temperature and may be
removed as such for disposal. In the liquid state the
spillage should be collected using a suitable adsorber (eg
silica).

Handling: Industrial use: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. General
public: No special precautions for detergents containing
the substance.
