First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient from exposure. Obtain medical attention if
ill effects occur
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately irrigate with eye wash solution or clean water,
holding the eyelids apart, for at least 15 minutes. Obtain
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with water. Obtain
medical attention if ill effects occur.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water and 200-300 (half a pint) of water
to drink. Do not induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Use water spray, foam, dry powder or CO2
Product arising from burning: Oxides of carbon, nitrogen and sulphur.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: A self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective
clothing should be worn in fire conditions
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Contain the spill. Ensure suitable protective clothing
during removal of spillage. Absorb on suitable material and
sweep up into a container for a safe disposal.
