Additional information

Four reliable measured flash point studies are available for the substance. A measured flash point of 88 ± 0.5°C was determined for the substance in accordance with EU Method A.9 and ISO Standard 3679 but not in compliance with any known quality system. The result is considered to be reliable and selected as key study. The result is supported by measured flash point values of 85°C, 87.5°C and 98.7°C which were obtained for Vi4 -D4 using relevant test methods.

The submission substance is not classified as flammable according to EC Regulation 1272/2008, on the basis of a measured flash point of 88°C and predicted boiling points for Vi4-D4, Vi5-D5 and Vi3-D3 of 220°C, 270°C and 170°C, respectively.
