The HPLC method using soil-adsorption-reference data was applied for the determination of the adsorption coefficient (Koc) of Pigment Blue 61 under GLP compliance and used as the key study. In the chromatogram of the test solution, two peaks were observed. The first peak eluted before formamide. The second peak was a very broad peak. The logKoc values were < 1.26, < 1.26, 4.87 for peak 1, peak 2 at the start and peak 2 at the end, respectively.
