Nopyl acetate is a colourless to slightly amber liquid at ambient temperature. It is very slightly soluble in water and is not classified as hazardous with regard to flammability, explosivity and oxidising properties, according to the criteria of Directive 67/548/EEC and Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP).
