MAPDA-ABS salts are protonated under environmental conditions. This means that they will sorb to negatively charged surfaces like glassware, soil and sediment constituents. The calculated Koc values ranged from: 100 to 10000 L/kg.

The substance will according to the fugacity model end up in the aquatic environment to more than 99.9 %. Taking the use of the substance in to consideration it can be concluded that the substance may be emitted to the aquatic environment and no emission to air or soil is anticipated. The substance is considered to be relatively stable in the aquatic compartment, no or very slow hydrolysis will take place and the biodegradation rate is due to this slow i.e. 9% degradation in 28 days.

Based on the measured log Kow of 0.16 and the low acute to chronic ratio of 7 (Daphnia magna) it can be concluded that the substance has a low bioaccumulation potential.
