Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The biodegradability of Fatty acids, C8-10, triesters with trimethylolpropane (CAS 91050-89-4) was tested in a study conducted according to EU Method C.4-D (Wierich, 2000). The substance was incubated under aerobic conditions with non-adapted domestic effluent for 28 days. During the test period the degradation of the substance was determined by measuring the O2 consumption of the inoculum. A degradation rate of 78% was determined at test termination. Therefore the substance can be considered as readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
