Description of key information

A population of turbot was exposed to Petasan. The test was carried out according to MIPC SOP No 37 which is an extract of PARCOM 1995 Protocols on Method for the Testing of Chemicals Used in the Offshore Oil Industry pp25-35. In addition to blank, the nominal concentrations of 10, 30 and 100 mg/litre sea water was tested. The test lasted for 96 hrs , no mortality took place and LC50 ( 96 hrs) was concluded to be >100 mg/litre.
