Description of key information

The density is estimated to be > 2.02 and < 2.03 g/cm3 at 20°C (result from only one measurement).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
2.02

Additional information

The density of the isosorbide diesters (EC No. 700 -073 -5) has been determined according to the OECD guideline 109 using the pynometer method.

The substance Isosorbide di-octanoate (CAS No. 64896-70-4 ) was considered to have a density between 2.02 and 2.03 based on the results obtained in this test performed on a very similar analogue.
