EC number: 271-240-3 | CAS number: 68526-92-1 A complex combination of hydrocarbons produced by the distillation of products from the hydrogenation of isotridecanal from the hydroformylation of dodecene. It consists predominantly of C10-12 olefins and paraffins and C13 alcohols and aldehydes and boils in the range of approximately 160°C to 253°C (320°F to 487°F).

Description of key information
In a 14-day acute toxicity study earthworms (Eisenia foetida) were exposed to Oxooil LS 13. The resulting 14-day LC50 value was >1000 mg/kg dw.

In a 14-day acute toxicity study, earthworms (Eisenia foetida) were exposed to Oxooil LS 13 at the following nominal concentrations:
0, 0 (solvent control) and 1000 mg/kg dw (artificial soil). The resulting 14-day LC50 value was >1000 mg/kg dw. The present toxicity study is classified as reliable with restrictions according to the OECD guideline Nr. 207, since Oxooil LS 13 appears to be volatile (see IUCLID point 6.1.7), and any potential loss of the test substance during application to the soil was not determined.
