Alchisor CAL 111 is the trade name for decene, hydroformylation products, high boiling. As defined in the ‘Read-Across Justification Document’, data provided for the analogue substance Alchisor CAL 123 is representative of Alchisor CAL 111 and suitable for assessment purpose.
Study data for Alchisor CAL 123, where available, have been evaluated and considered for assessment. No environmental fate data are available for Alchisor CAL 111.
In Annex VIII Column 2 of the Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 REACH concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals, it is stated that a study on the hydrolysis as function of pH does not need to be conducted if the substance is readily biodegradable. Therefore, a study on the hydrolysis as function of pH is not required as the analague, Alchisor CAL 123, is readily biodegradable.
