Results and discussion

Water solubility
Key result
Water solubility:
> 16 - < 17 other: %w/w
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
ca. 6.8
Remarks on result:
other: The standard A6 method was not applicable to this test material due to the high indeterminable saturation levels produced. No analysis could be performed due to high solubility and thus the water solubility was estimated based on a visual inspection.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The water solubility of the test material has been determined to be in the range 16.0 to 17.0% w/w of solution at 20.0 ± 0.5°C.
Executive summary:

Introduction

The water solubility of the test substance was determined using the flask method , based on method A6 of commission directive 92/69/EEC ( which consttutes annex V of the directive 67/548/EEC)

Conclusion

The water solubility of the test material has been determined to be in the range 16.0 to 17.0% w/w of solution at 20.0 ± 0.5°C based on a visual assessment.
