First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Nach Inhalation von Stäuben oder Aerosolen Arzt aufsuchen.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Verschüttetes Pulver mechanisch, z.B. auch durch einen

zugelassenen Industriestaubsauger aufnehmen und in

ordnungsgemäß gekennzeichnete Abfallbehälter einsammeln.

Reste feucht aufnehmen und ebenfalls in gekennzeichnete

Behälter sammeln. Dabei ist das Einatmen von Stäuben bzw.

Haut- und Augenkontakt mit dem Pulver zu vermeiden.

Personen, die entsprechende Reinigungsarbeit vornehmen,

sind gehalten, die unter "Handhabung" erwähnten

Schutzmaßnahmen zu ergreifen.

Entsorgung der Abfallbehälter entsprechend den örtlichen

behördlichen Vorschriften, z.B. durch kontrollierte

Verbrennung.

Take up spilled powder mechanically, e.g. also using an

industrial vacuum cleaner of approved design and collect in

properly labelled waste containers. Take up residues in a

damp state and also collect in labelled containers. Here

avoid the inhalation of dusts and skin and eye contact with

the powder. Persons that undertake relevant cleaning work

are required to take the protective measures mentioned under

"handling".

Disposal of the waste containers in accordance with the

local official regulations, e.g. by controlled incineration.

Handling and storage

Handling: Es sind die beim Umgang mit Chemikalien üblichen

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen zu beachten (s. TRGS 500

"Schutzmaßnahmen: Mindeststandards").

Bei allen Arbeitsgängen, bei denen die Möglichkeit zu

Haut- bzw. Augenkontakt besteht, wird das Tragen geeigneter

Arbeitskleidung, Gummihandschuhe und Schutzbrille empfohlen.

Beim Umfüllen ist Staubentwicklung zu vermeiden. Getrennt

von Nahrungsmitteln, Genussmitteln und Getränken halten.

The usual precautionary measures when handling chemicals

must be taken.

The wearing of suitable working clothes, rubber gloves and

goggles is recommended for all of the working procedures in

which there is the possibility of skin or eye contact. Avoid

the formation of dust during filling. Keep away from food,

tobacco and alcohol.

Storage: Das Produkt ist trocken, bei Raumtemperatur in dicht

geschlossenen Behältern zu lagern.

Lagerräume sind nach den Grundsätzen einer guten

Betriebshygiene zu unterhalten. Alle angebrochenen Gebinde

sind nach Gebrauch wieder dicht zu schließen. Produktreste

auf den Gebinden sind zu vermeiden bzw. mit der gebotenen

Vorsicht zu entfernen.

containers at room temperature.

Store rooms must be maintained according to the principles

of good occupational hygiene. Tightly close again all opened

packing drums after use. Avoid product residues on the

formation of dust must be avoided during the handling of the

dry substance. Effective extraction must be ensured and

precautions taken against static discharge where this is

possible in dependence on the equipment, handling and the

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Der Stoff wird vollständig als Kuppler für die Herstellung

fotografischer Materialien (Bilder) in der Industie

eingesetzt. Anfallende Abfälle werden entsprechend den

örtlichen behördlichen Vorschriften verbrannt. Eine

Rückgewinnung aus den Emulgaten und Gießlösungen oder aus

den Bildern und anschließende Wiederverwendung ist in der

Praxis nicht möglich.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Im Rahmen der Verwendung des Stoffes zur Herstellung

fotografischer Materialien (Bilder, Papiere) gelangt der

Stoff aufgrund seiner Schwerlöslichkeit nur in äußerst

geringen Mengen ins Abwasser bzw. kann daraus durch

Filtration- und Sedimentationsprozesse ggf. abgetrennt

werden. Wegen seiner hohen Lipophilie ist von einem hohen

Sorptionspotential auszugehen, so dass die im Wasser ggf,

vorhandenen geringen Mengen bei Eintritt in die Kläranlage

überwiegend abgetrennt werden. Eine zusätzliche spezielle

Abwasserbehandlung erscheint daher trotz der nicht leichten

biologischen Abbaubarkeit des Stoffes nicht erforderlich.

1626 ausgerüsteten Fotomaterialien werden normalerweise nur

einen geringen Anteil am Hausmüll ausmachen. Wegen der

geringen Wasserlöslichkeit, der starken Bindung an die

Matrix und des hohen Sorptionspotentials sind beim

Deponieren keine besonderen Maßnahmen erforderlich; es sind

die allgemeinen und örtlichen Vorschriften zu beachten.

wird und darin nur in sehr geringen Mengen in

matrixgebundener Form enthalten ist, ist ein nennenswerter

Eintrag in Gewässer/Abwässer nicht gegeben. Eine

zusätzliche spezielle Abwasserbehandlung erscheint daher

trotz der nicht leichten biologischen Abbaubarkeit des

Stoffes nicht erforderlich.
