First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient from exposure.          Obtain medical

attention if ill effects occur.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Irrigate with eyewash solution or clean water, holding

theeyelids apart, for at least 15 minutes. Obtain

medicalattention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Take off immediatley all contaminated clothing.

After contact with skin wash immediately with plenty

ofwater. Obtain immediate medical attention.

Contaminated clothing should be laundered before re-issue.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide.

Product arising from burning: Noxious and toxic fumes.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: A self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective

clothing should be worn in fire conditions.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Ensure suitable personal protective clothing

(includingrespiratory protection) during removal of

spillages.          Clear up spillages. Transfer to a

container for disposal.Wash the spillage area clean.

Washings must be preventedfrom entering surface water drains

.          Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or

watercourses.Spillages or uncontrolled discharges into

watercourses mustbe alerted to the appropriate regulatory

body.

Handling and storage

Handling: Use only in well ventilated areas. Avoid inhalation of

highconcentrations of vapour/mist. Avoid contact with skin

andeyes. Wear eye/face protection, suitable gloves and

suitableprotective clothing. Wear suitable protective

respiratoryprotective equipment if exposure to high levels

of materialis likely.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: In the event of a spill recovery of uncontaminated

materialmay be possible by mechanical collection and

recycling.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not known

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration is the preferred method of disposal.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Treatment via an aqueous effluent biotreatment

isinappropriate due to the low solubility of the material.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Substance will not enter the public domain.
