Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusion on classification

The 96-h LC50 for fish is > 100 mg/L.

The 48-h EC 50 for daphnia is 0.58 mg/L

The 96-h ErC50 for algae is >1 mg/L and the NOEC is 0.3 mg/L

The 72-h ErC50 for algae is 0.61 mg/L and the NOEC is 0.09 mg/L

The substance is readily biodegradable.

The water solubility of the substance is reported as 0.3 mg/L

The EC50 values for the three trophic levels are above the declared water solubility of 0.3 mg/L and are underpinned by 96-hour algal data, which are considered to override the 72-hour algal growth rate values. This means that NOECs reported in short-term studies are all 0.3 mg/L or higher and it is considered that there will be no short-term or long-term aquatic toxicity at the declared water solubility of 0.3 mg/L. Classification for Acute or Chronic Aquatic toxicity is not required.
