Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The study was performed according to the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals (Guideline No 203/ C.1 method) and in compliance with Principles of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice, OECD 1997).

The aim of the study was evaluation of acute toxicity for rainbow trout and determination of LC50, LC0and LC100 values.

The test material was used in only one concentration (limit test) — 100 mg/L. Because of no mortality was observed in tested fish population the LCx/96h values are respectively:

- based on nominal concentration of test material the LC50/96 h value is above 100 mg/L, LC0is equal or above 100 mg/L, LC100is above 100 mg/L;

- based on nominal concentration of mecoprop as potassium salt the LC50/96 h value is above 35.6 mg/L, LC0is equal or above 35.6 mg/L and LC100 is above 35.6 mg/L;

- based on nominal concentration of mecoprop the LC50/96 h value is above 30.2 mg/L, LC0is equal or above 30.2 mg/L and LC100 is above 30.2 mg/L
