Description of key information

ZDDPs such as the notified substance have been evaluated as a catgegory (see attachment in section 13). ZDDPs such as this substance are expected to undergo dissociation of the Zn from the dialkyldithiophosphate ester. This is observed with studies for 3 ZDDPs (ECs 270 -608 -0; 283 -392 -8; 272 -723 -1). Therefore, careful note must be taken regarding the hydrolysis study, which may also be evaluting the stability of the dialkyl dithiophosphate ester functionality, which was stable under the conditions of the hydrolysis study.
