Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of monoisopropylnaphthalene - MIPN) was determined using a method similar to OECD TG 104. From the regression line of log p versus (1/T) (in Kelvin), the vapour pressure at 20°C and 25°C was calculated to be 1.6 and 2.5 Pa, respectively.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of isopropylnaphthalene was determined based on OECD TG 104 (dynamic method). The regression equation of the plot log p versus 1/T was used to calculate the vapour pressure at ambient temperatures.

at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

Vapour pressure of isopropylnaphthalene was determined to be 2.429 Pa using a method similar to OECD TG 104 (RÜTGERS 2010). This value is in good agreement with a value reported in the literature (4.9 Pa, Perry RH, Green DW 1984).
