Description of key information

Aqueous solutions of the test item were prepared in different buffer solutions pH 4, 7 and 9 to investigate its stability according to OECD guideline 111. The analytical behavior of the test item was investigated first in order to obtain an analytical method for the analysis of the sample solutions by HPLC/UV-detection. For the freshly prepared solutions the validity criteria for the used concentration range have been met using calibration curves/linear regression. However, in course of these measurements alterations of the HPLC signal shapes were observed after 1 day respectively.

This effect was attributed to chemical interaction of the test item with the different buffer solution salts. Therefore, the study is regarded as technically not feasible.
