Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

One GLP study according to OECD Guideline 201 was performed in order to investigate the toxicity of Y-15099 (CAS 220727-26-4) to aquatic algae (Bätscher, 2001). This study was conducted using the green algae Scenedesmus subspicatus exposed to a filtered test solution of nominal 100 mg/L for 72 h. However, the mean measured concentration in the test vessels was 0.0018 mg/L (below LOQ) which is related to the hydrolytic instability of the test substance. Thus, the hydrolytic degradation products of the test substance were tested as well. No inhibitory effects on algal growth were observed resulting in a NOEC of = 100 mg/L (nominal) and an EC50 of > 100 mg/L (nominal).
