Description of key information

In contact with water the substance will hydrolyse slowly.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The 5 days hydrolysis preliminary test was performed on the test substance at 50 °C± 0.5 °C and each pH of 4.0, 7 .0 and 9 .0 (Laboratory of Ecotoxicity & Environmental Safety 2014). Results indicated that the hydrolysis rate of the test substance was 1.10 % at pH 4.0, 1.81 % at pH 7.0, and 0.32 % at pH 9.0. All of the hydrolysis rate data were less than 10 %. Therefore, there is no need to undertake further hydrolysis test.
