Additional information

The substance is difficult to be hydrolyzed under pH 4, pH 7 and pH 9 based on the read-across data from a structural analogue substance. The biodegradation data of the substance indicated there was no significant biodegradation after the period of 28 days. Thus, it indicates the substance meets the persistence criteria of REACH Annex XIII.

In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex IX, tests for bioaccumulation do not need to be conducted if the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation. Bioaccumulation tests for aquatic and sediment environment are waived due to the high solubility in water and low log kow (log kow <3),

However, considering the high water solubility and low log Pow the substance has no potential to adsorb to sediment nor to bioaccumulate in the aquatic food chain.
