Additional information

No experimental data evaluating the biodegradation potential of Glycerides,C14-18 and C16-18 unsaturated, mono-, di- and tri- (CAS No. 91052-28-7) are available. Therefore, data from a structurally related analogue substance are used as read-across in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex XI, 1.5. In a biodegradation screening study performed with the read-across substance 1,2,3-propanetriyl trioleate (CAS No. 122-32-7), 76.5% biodegradation after 28 days was observed. Based on this result, Glycerides,C14-18 and C16-18 unsaturated, mono-, di- and tri- is expected to be readily biodegradable as well and therefore, rapidly biodegraded in both aquatic and terrestrial environments. Thus, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex IX, Column 2, 9.2.1.2, 9.2.1.3 and 9.2.1.4, further testing on biodegradation of the substance in water, sediment and soil are not required.
