Additional information

Abiotic degradation of isodecyl pivalate (CAS 60209-82-7) is not a relevant pathway. Since the substance is not likely to be present in the atmosphere, indirect photodegradation in air will not occur to a significant degree. Abiotic hydrolysis is not a relevant degradation pathway either. Validated QSAR estimations resulted in half-lives for hydrolysis > 1 yr (pH 7 and 8) indicating that the substance is not susceptible to abiotic hydrolysis.
