Experimental data on the adsorption potential of 2-ethylhexanol nonanoate (CAS 59587-44-9) are not available. Calculated values for the substance using KOCWIN Program (v2.00) indicate that the substance has the potential to adsorb to soil and suspended matter (Birkhofer, 2014). A log Koc of 4.11 was calculated based on the molecular conductivity index (MCI). A calculation based on the log Kow of the substance resulted in a log Koc of 4.83.
