Conclusion on classification

The substance is readily biodegradable and has no potential for bioaccumulation (Log Pow <3). The lowest acute toxicity value (EC50) was determined to be 1.71 mg/L in aquatic invertebrates (Daphnia magna). The lowest available chronic value (NOEC) was determined to >1.5 mg/L in aquatic invertebrates (Daphnia magna). Consequently, there is no need for acute and chronic classification as in accordance with EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation No. 1272/2008.
