The log Pow of the substance hexadecyl 2-ethylhexanoate (CAS 59130-69-7) was determined according to OECD Guideline 123 (Partition Coefficient (1-Octanol / Water), Slow-Stirring Method). The QSAR calculation (log Pow > 10) is supporting.
The determination according to the slow stirring method is appropriate for log Pow≤ 8. As the substance is a long chain fatty acid ester (C16), the calculated value is taken into consideratio in a weight of evidence approach.
