Additional information

4-Oxo Tempo is manufactured as a liquid at standard temperature and pressure - see sections 4.1, 4.2 and 4.5. Although the substance can be purified and isolated as a solid in the laboratory, this is not standard practice on an industrial scale. A number of conventional methods are available for the determination of flammability; however the most appropriate for 4-Oxo Tempo considering its physical properties is the flash point.

The flash point of 4-Oxo Tempo was determined to be >85°C (see section 4.11) and thus the substance does not meet the criteria for classification as flammable.
