Description of key information

BCF = 2150 L/kg ww (regression based estimation)
BCF= 190.9 L/kg ww (Arnot-Gobas method)
BAF= 1428 L/kg ww (Arnot-Gobas method)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No experimental data evaluating the bioaccumulation potential of SP-334 (2-(2-hexyl-decyloxy)-benzamide) are available. Therefore, a scientifically accepted calculation method is used for further assessment (BCFBAF v3.01, EPISuite™ (US EPA)). In view of the estimated BCF values (191 -2150 L/kg ww),SP-334shows a substantial potential for bioaccumulation in aquatic organisms.
