Data waiving:
other justification
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is readily biodegradable
Justification for type of information:
The substance is readily biodegradable, i.e., biotically instable. Hence it is irrelevant for environmental contamination, whether the substance is abiotically stable or not, since - due to its ready biodegradability - contamination of the environment via surface waters will not occur and does hence not have to be considered for the Chemical Safety Assessment according to REACH.

Description of key information

The substance is readily biodegradable, i.e., biotically instable. Hence it is irrelevant for environmental contamination, whether the substance is abiotically stable or not, since - due to its ready biodegradability - contamination of the environment via surface waters will not occur and does hence not have to be considered for the Chemical Safety Assessment according to REACH.
