Additional information

No experimental data evaluating the hydrolysis of Glycerides, C12-18 mono- and di- (CAS No. 91052-49-2) are available. However, according to Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex VIII, Column 2, 9.2.2.1, testing for hydrolysis is not required since the substance is readily biodegradable. The results from the supporting QSAR estimations calculated for representative components (C12 and C18 mono- and di-)(HYDROWIN v2.00) indicate that indeed hydrolysis is not a relevant degradation pathway in the environmental fate of this substance, with half-lives (DT50 values) ranging from 2.6-7.7 years (pH 7) and 96.1-282 days (pH 8)(López Parrón, 2011).
