Description of key information

The vapour pressure of 1-2-hydroxyethylpyrrolidin-2-one is 0.0002 hPa at 20°C, 0.00036 hPa at 25 °C and 0.0049 hPa at 50 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 hPa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

A GLP study was conducted. The study in accordance with the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals 104: "Vapour pressure" by dynamic method determined the vapour pressure to be 0.0002 hPa at 20°C, 0.00036 hPa at 25 °C and 0.0049 hPa at 50 °C. A non-GLP study supports this with determined values for the vapour pressure of 0.00057 hPa at 20 °C and 0.00862 hPa at 50 °C.
