Polyglycerol-3 does not meet the Annex XIII criteria for PBT and vPvB substances because:

- The substance is not persistent

- The substance does not have a potential for bioaccumulation

- The substance is not toxic to freshwater organisms, is not classified as carcinogenic and there is no evidence

of chronic toxicity.

Likely routes of exposure:

Since Polyglycerol-3 does not meet the criteria for classification as dangerous according to Directive

67/548/EEC or Directive 1999/45/EC and is not considered to be a PBT or vPvB substance, an exposure

assessment is not required.
