Additional information
No information on carcinogenic effects in humans or laboratory animals are available for DEIPA and chronic testing is not a requirement (Annex VII-IX) at this tonnage level (100-1000 tpa). In a limited study, no carcinogenic activity was seen when TIPA was fed to rats at a concentration of 2% in the diet for 2 years (Yamamoto et al. 1989; Yamamoto, 1991). In addition, DEIPA is not expected to be genotoxic in vivo.
