Additional information

The biodegradability of the test substance DUSANTOX® 86 was assessed using two different methods:

Method A - Carbon dioxide (CO2) evolution - Modified Sturm test

Method B - Closed bottle test (two-phase closed bottle test)

Based on the results of the biodegradability tests using the method of determination of evolved carbon dioxide(method A)and the closed bottle test (two-phase closed bottle test)(method B), the following biodegradability values were established for the test substance DUSANTOX® 86 after 28 days:

Dt = 29% (method A)

DThOD = 5% (method B)

The test substance DUSANTOX® 86 under the test conditions (method A) and (method B), cannot be considered to be readily biodegradable (D < 60%).
