26.3 mg/L

Additional information

tert-Butylperoxy-3,5,5-trimethylhexanoat was assessed in an activated sludge respiration inhibition test, according to the EU method C.11 and OECD guideline 209. In comparison to the inoculum controls the respiration rate of the activated sludge was inhibited dose-dependently in the concentration range from 55.1 - 510.5 mg/L, displaying inhibition rates from 14 up to 59.8 %. The respiration rate of the activated sludge was inhibited by 29.8 %, at 115.8 mg/L and by 38 % at 243.1 mg/L.

The EC50 value was determined as 327.02 mg/L and the NOEC at 26.3 mg/L.
