Conclusion on classification

Dimethyloctadiene showed no toxic properties to aquatic organisms at its solubility limit. Moreover, it is readily biodegradable. It has a log Kow measured at 5.796. Therefore according to CLP criteria, it should not be classified for the environment.

According to the classification criteria of Annex VI to the Directive 67/548/EEC, dimethyloctadiene should not be classified for the environment.
